Welcome to Fika Stugan, a delightful cafe nestled along Mississippi St in Talomo, Davao City, Davao del Sur, Philippines. This charming spot beautifully captures the essence of the Swedish tradition of "fika"—a time to relax with family, friends, or colleagues while enjoying a wonderful cup of coffee or tea, often accompanied by something sweet. The term "stugan," meaning small house, adds an endearing touch, making Fika Stugan not just a cafe, but a cozy retreat.

Among the standout items on their menu, you must try the Kebab Pizza, which combines a unique fusion of flavors that local patrons rave about. The Hawaiian and Pepperoni Pizzas are also crowd favorites, celebrated for their soft and chewy crusts that provide the perfect base for a symphony of toppings. According to Patricia Louisse Uy, these pizzas are “delish,” and the quick service ensures you won’t have to wait long to satiate your cravings.

For those who enjoy a sweet ending, be sure to sample the cheesecakes. Customers like Ace P commend their ideal sweetness, making them a perfect companion to your coffee. And speaking of coffee, while it may not be something you’d particularly crave, the quality and preparation stand out as a reliable choice for your afternoon pick-me-up.

In English, fika means "to have coffee" or “a coffee break”, but Fika in Sweden is when you sit with your family, friends or colleagues, and take a coffee or tea, often with something sweet on the side. Meanwhile, the word stugan means a small house. The cafe is situated near the entrance of the park and it looks serene and laid back. Definitely a great place to slow down and chat with your friends or family. As for the coffee, they don't offer a lot of choices, but their basic coffee was still good. They're also not that expensive compared to other coffee shops. Aside from this, they have other refreshments if youre looking for something sweet to beat the heat with. In terms of the food, we ordered their Kebab pizza which I personally liked albeit the dough was too soft. Overall, would recommend visiting here!

We went there to to hangout with our cousins. It was a bit hot and humid since it was around 2pm. The Kebab pizza was our favorite, it was something new to us and the fusion was really good and service was fast! Coffee's good, but it's not something that one will crave for. I also tried the cheesecakes and they were good! not too sweet. They allow pets, so that's a plus for me. will definitely come back.

Went here at a non peak time so service could be different. Pizza tastes great for its price point and plus points that it isn't a greasy pizza. Minor comment is that the pizza's sauce makes the texture a bit soggy; so the toppings can fall off easily and I have to fold it. Ambiance and feel can be dependent on the weather since there is no A/C but there is shade in their grounds. Would still recommend and try again for another order.
